Our Go Bright campaign encourages people across the country to wear their boldest clothes with friends, family, at school and work to raise money for muscle-wasting conditions.
Why become an ambassador?
By becoming an ambassador, we will support you to recruit five Go Bright events to brighten the lives of more than 110,000 people living with muscle-wasting conditions. The average Go Bright event raises £300, and you could make five times that impact to the 110,000 people living with muscle-wasting conditions.
As a Fundraising Ambassador, you will be:
- Recruiting your friends, family, and community to host a Go Bright event
- Spreading awareness and raising funds to help those living with muscular dystrophy
How we will help
- Your local fundraising manager will support you to help discover your networks and organise your five events
- Our press team will help you to share your story
- Resources to provide your to your connections
Time commitment
Flexible but a maximum of 2-3 hours per week.
Your skills and experience
You will be confident in speaking about the Go Bright campaign, and the cause and work of the charity. Raising awareness of Go Bright, how to host an event, who we are and what we do is very important to the charity so we are looking for a proactive volunteer to recruit on behalf of the charity to host Go Bright events.
